I have taught math, science, and social studies to fourth graders in Brenham for 16 years. In 2008 I started a new position at the CSI lab with Mrs. Toni Schwartz. We conduct Challenging Science Investigations with GT Fourth Graders every Tuesday, and 5th graders every Wednesday. On Thursdays I work at the Middle School with all the 5th Grade students to complete some scientific investigations in the lab. On Friday's I meet with 6th Grade GT CSI students. I live in Chappell Hill with my husband, and our dogs, Lucy and Remy. We have two grown boys, Kevin, 27 and Kyle, 25.

    Actually, I do like the Astros, but the picture is from a trip to New York with my husband and two sons. One of my son's wore a Yankee jersey and the rest of us wore Astros!

Mrs. Sarah Cook and Mrs. Janis Kmiec are the lead investigators at CSI. Mrs. Cook manages the lab lessons as well as the Science Curriculum for BISD. Mrs. Kmiec leads the technology lab investigations. Both teachers love making CSI fun, exciting, and full of learning for their students.
