Happy New Year! January 1, 2012. I came across so many good suggestions for resolutions for the new year. Church sermon, friends, family and media had great suggestions. One blogger's post seemed challenging and different from the rest. I liked her idea and wanted to pass it on. Mandy, on her One Little Word post, suggests that you come up with a word for 2012 that will sum up the goals for the year. It can motivate and inspire you. I thought about many words that I could have used for 2011: Change, Technology, Motivation, Relevance, Grow, ..Some that I might want to use for 2012. Mandy decided on the word "Change".
Another post by Ali Edwards, the creator of the One Little Word workshop, says it best:
"Regardless what word you select, choosing a word means you want to make your life even better than it is today."
So, as for my word for 2012, I had a hard time choosing but have to agree with Teaching in the 21st Century and go with the word "reflection". I think this word will help take me from 2011 to 2012. I encourage you to think of your own One Little Word. I hope you will share it with me and find it encouraging for your 2012.
