5th Grade Topology
Our topology activities today involved changing the shape of an index card without changing its size! Our first activity was to draw and cut a dime sized hole that we could try to slip a quarter through!
Our second activity was to cut an index card where we could put our whole body through! This one was much more challenging but hats off to the kids who figured out their own way to do it first. Parker, Zach, Savannah, Evan! They found a new and creative way of solving the problem. Excellent!
Zach was sooo excited he asked if he could go and scream outside. Since we have a country school, and I am located in a portable building and I could see him, I decided that might be ok.
ZACH SCREAMING
THIS ONE WAS TOO SMALL TO FIT YOUR WHOLE BODY THROUGH
THESE DESIGNS WORKED!
