CSI's Nazca Lines Grade 4

One of our enigmas is the Nazca Lines. These ancient lines are drawn on desert mountain sides near Nazca, Peru. Many are miles long! We completed an activity to see how a picture might be created on a large scale. Each student had to enlarge a small 2 inch square to an 11 inch square! If we were really exact when we redrew our squares, our giant design came out pretty good.

OUR PATRICK LINE!

We saw how amazing it was that the ancient Nazca people were able to create the Nazca lines.
